Energetic cord cutting allows a “refresh” of energy between you and other people. Any time you interact with someone it creates a cord between you and them. These cords are inevitable. Not all cords are bad…we have them with family and friends who feed us, in many ways, and don’t drain us. But for most of us, we have a significant number of these energetic cords that do drain us.
These don’t have to be with just people either—you can cord with places or events too. Sometimes even thinking about someone, or seeing a photo of someone can create a cord between you and them. Energy has no need for close proximity. People you’ve known as a child can still be corded to you…people who met you as a baby.
All cords can be cleared. But this isn’t permanent. Remember, anytime you interact with someone, you’re creating a cord. Any response to someone is an agreement to cord with them. So notice who reaches out to you right after a cord cutting—those are usually the people who were benefitting from taking your energy.
I take it a step further with a cord cutting, and now practice cord removals. It involves a different intention, slight change in process, and the use of symbols, which are sent to clients through color energy during the session.
